Why Virtual Events Are Still Worth Attending

Source: IT By Design

Numerous conferences, expos, and summits have been canceled or postponed since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Many of these postponed events are now coming back virtually. One such event — Build IT Virtual — is being put on by IT By Design September 1 to 2 in, well, wherever you are. We spoke with IT By Design to get a feel for how a virtual event will be run and why attending virtual events is still important.

Q: Your conference is designed for MSPs who want to improve service delivery, sales, marketing, leadership, culture, HR, and operations. How did you identify those topics as targets?

IT By Design: We focused this year’s event educational offerings on those specific topics because each is an essential building block of a successful business. It also allows attendees to follow the track that is most applicable to their business needs by role. For example, we highly encourage MSPs to register several members of their team to get the full impact of the educational offerings, so an MSP CEO may attend more leadership and strategy sessions while a marketing lead may find more value in marketing and sales topics.

Within the HR and culture tracks, we offer advice and education around internal processes every MSP must address to create a positive culture that attracts and engages great people. Operations and services delivery focus on best practices around processes that drive exceptional customer experience.
