All of us in the Payments/POS industry enjoy the low attrition that comes with POS systems. This stickiness is thanks to the integral role that these systems play for the business. However, this stickiness cuts both ways. A merchant that has already invested in a competitor’s POS system is just as sticky for them as your POS merchants are for you. It is very hard to displace an existing POS system, and this presents a challenge as you pursue new merchants in an increasingly saturated market.
