Describe Volkswagen de L'Estrie challenge that precipitated the need for your solution. Our client was looking for an affordable and reliable solution to backup their servers.

What solution did you implement and how did it address Volkswagen L’Estrie’s challenge? We sold them Altaro software to backup their servers, installed a new network drive to backup their local data, and sold them two USB drives to swap out every other day as their offsite copies in case they were hit by a virus or fire. This solution brought peace of mind to our client as it solved the issue of not having any trust toward the safety of their DATA.

How is it helping them do business more efficiently? Not too long after the installation of this new backup solution the client was hit by a crypto virus which encrypted all of their servers. With Altaro, only a few hours later we had the servers up and running with the previous evening's version with no issues.

How is that success being measured and attributed to your solution? Without this solution in place, our client would have lost all their DATA and would have had to pay a bunch of IT time to reinstall new servers in place.

Has this solution led to any new business opportunities or product/service offerings for your company? Yes, with this working well on their main site we also managed to sell and implement it to other sites and other clients they do business with.
