Marketing isn’t just about first impressions. It’s ultimately about getting the opportunity to even make that first impression.
Who are you talking to?
Defining your target market is arguably the most important step in marketing, and therefore, the step that warrants the greatest amount of attention. Start with identifying the typical job titles, or roles of the people that are involved with the buying process. This could be the person who identifies the need for your service and goes through the effort of finding a solution. Or perhaps it’s the person who needs to give their stamp of approval before a contract is signed. Whatever the case, clearly identify and name the key people in the buying process.
