Logicnow's Mac Support Capabilities Accelerate With MAX Remote Management Integration For Enhanced Security And Automation

LOGICnow, the global market leader in integrated cloud-based IT Service Management (ITSM) solutions, recently announced MAX Remote Management’s OS X Agent, v1.5, another key milestone in its commitment to provide best-in-class Mac management support in the market. This release includes further integration of its innovative Mac-MSP solution for automated maintenance and patching of Macs on user networks, in addition to data-driven threat measurements.

This release significantly enhances LOGICnow’s Mac management capabilities, providing a more responsive, non-intrusive and low labor method for maintaining a fleet of Macs. The main features of this release give customers the ability to:

  • Leverage MAX Risk Intelligence – LOGICnow’s vulnerability scanning and analytics product that quantifies data breach risk in dollars
  • Benefit from automated routine maintenance to significantly reduce trouble tickets
  • Use passive anti-malware scanning to better fortify against security threats
  • Patch over 200 software titles through automatic installs and updates, backed by rigorous Mac testing
  • Take advantage of innovative scheduling to boost productivity and minimize downtimes

“With the significant advancement of security and protection for Macs through this newest release, LOGICnow is furthering its goal to become the number one Mac support platform in the world,” said Brian Best, Apple Strategist at LOGICnow. “IT pros have been looking for more affordable and reliable Mac support as the Mac user base continues to rise along with the demand for better services. By providing our customers with these innovative capabilities, we can continue to redefine the market as we add more features.”

Since acquiring Mac-MSP in January of this year, LOGICnow has enhanced its Mac management capabilities by enabling IT pros to offer the same level of remote access support for Macs as they can for PCs. This allows users to fully monitor, manage, secure and backup Mac end points as easily as they do for Windows-based devices.

“LOGICnow is continuing to broaden our Mac support footprint to become a uniquely differentiated cross-platform ITSM company, and these key enhancements within the MAX Remote Management dashboard are pivotal to this goal,” said Stephen Garland, Senior Vice President of Engineering at LOGICnow. “We are excited about the ability to deliver significantly enhanced security and protection capabilities for Macs, in addition to the unique tie-in to our market differentiated MAX Risk Intelligence solution.”
