Security isn’t always convenient, but with this new feature, it can be.

Two-factor authentication (2FA) or multi-factor authentication (MFA) has become an essential measure for password security. It adds another layer of assurance that the person accessing an account is the person who should be, through the use of a second piece of authentication.

A One-Time Password (OTP) code fills this function. However, sometimes there’s no easy way to access the OTP code without manually scanning a QR code onto multiple devices, or tracking down the code owner. This inconvenience can cause some to skip 2FA/MFA measures, and compromise the security of sensitive data.

Now both IT Glue and MyGlue include an OTP Generator so that you always have access to the most up-to-date OTP codes for passwords that require 2FA/MFA!
