Is your documentation starting to look like the house of a hoarder?

I get it. Letting go of things can be hard, especially when it comes to information that may very well be crucial in the future.

For some, there may even be compliance requirements that prevent you from deleting data. The problem is that a glut of stale documentation can bury the relevant information. Instead of bringing up information, you’re hunting it down—but not anymore.

Our latest feature is the Archive button. As the name implies, it allows you to section off documentation that you no longer need but aren’t ready to say goodbye to. You’ll see it for Configurations, Passwords and Documents stored within IT Glue or MyGlue.

The Archive button appears in the right hand panel when you click into an asset for one-off archiving, but the archival of assets can also be executed in bulk.

If you want to include archived documentation in a search, there’s a handy checkbox that lets you make the search include archived assets.

For more information please take a look at the Knowledge Base article for this feature.
