Build IT 2020 Virtual Offers Free Educational Opportunity For MSPs Sept 1-2, 2020

MSP education event brings all the content, tools and great speakers—online

While IT By Design (ITBD), a market leader for providing technical talent to IT service providers, has opted to host its annual Build IT event virtually Sept. 1-2, 2020—and offer it free—attendees shouldn’t expect any less value from the channel’s only MSP-specific education event.

Build IT was launched in 2019 as an extension of ITBD’s commitment to knowledge sharing with its partners and other MSPs in order to positively impact the IT channel by opening an exchange of ideas between business owners, their peers, and experts in the industry. In year two, the event was slated for mid-May, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, the ITBD team opted to first postpone the event, then push the gathering online.

“In order to ensure the health and peace of mind of our team and our MSP guests at Build IT 2020, we determined that an in-person event was not a responsible decision, so we’re offering all the value for free to help our MSP community focus on opportunity and improvement this year,” explained Sunny Kaila, CEO, IT By Design. “It’s important for us to offer as much education as possible with so many MSPs struggling to recover from the stressful start to 2020. By making Build IT free, we’re opening up access to these workshops and keynotes for any MSP that might benefit from this opportunity.”

Virtual Build IT Brings Same Expert Advice, Tools to MSPs
The 2020 conference will include more than 25 breakout sessions in six topic tracks as well as a keynote from the renowned John C. Maxwell, and presentations from experts such as Rob Rae, Datto; Gary Pica, TruMethods; Adam Slutskin, Liongard; Matt Solomon, ID Agent; and ITBD’s own leadership team, Sunny and Kam Kaila. Attendees will once again gain access to editable versions of every single tool, template and scorecard discussed during the workshops—which they can deploy immediately in their businesses.

“While we’d love to see everyone face-to-face, and truly believe there is a value to live events that cannot be matched regardless of the virtual platform used, we also want to keep everyone comfortable and safe,” explained Kam Attwal Kaila, President, ITBD. “We opted to turn 2020 into a free, online event—but with all the high-value education and take-home templates and tools our partners expect. We are already planning for next year’s live event on Aug. 1-3, 2021, and can’t wait to host everyone back in Jersey City.”
