A conversation with Mynul Khan, our CEO, Field Nation

Looking OVer Mountain

Mynul Khan is the Founder and CEO of Field Nation; an online work marketplace for connecting people to get work done. Khan took the time to speak with MSP Insights about the impact of COVID-19 on managed services, employee and client safety, and more.

Q: What services are you seeing more activity in?

Khan: Traditional on-site IT field service activity continues to dominate our marketplace. While we observed work volume dipping in late Q1 and early Q2, it was immediately followed by a gradual rebound. In addition to traditional work, some organizations are finding creative ways to both generate revenue and strengthen their relationships with current clients – sanitization projects, installation of cough guards, and re-configuration of retail spaces to improve flow and minimize contact for shoppers are some examples of new service activity.

Q: What services are no longer as needed as they used to be?

Khan: While volume may be shifting periodically, especially as states continue to flex in response to COVID-19, all services are still in demand and being fulfilled by technicians on our marketplace.
