TBI Hosting Annual BIG Event Technology Forum At Soldier Field

The forum will focus on education and enablement tools for partners and end-users

TBI, the white-glove solutions delivery provider, will once again bring together some of the best and most knowledgeable industry experts for their annual BIG Event. This year’s forum will help attendees learn more about the application, procurement and user experiences behind 2019's most talked about emerging solutions such as 5G, IoT, mobility and cloud-based solutions. The complimentary BIG Event will be held Thursday, May 9, at Soldier Field in Chicago.

“We are excited to welcome our partners to Chicago’s historic Soldier Field to discuss the state of the channel and what technology purchasers need and plan to buy in the future,” says David Landsberger, Director of Training and Events at TBI. “We also look forward to updating our partners on all TBI resources they have access to.”

TBI will walk attendees through how to pivot conversations to more complex, higher revenue opportunities that will aid in their customers’ digital transformation initiatives. Sessions will focus on understanding the changing technology landscape and creating technology roadmaps for organizations across all verticals and sizes. TBI will also offer new technologies partners should consider adding to their portfolio and tips on how to sell and implement them.

The BIG Event will feature a keynote address from Fraz Baig, Ace Hardware’s senior manager of corporate indirect procurement. Fraz leads Ace Hardware’s Indirect Team responsible for IT, supply chain, marketing, and retail strategy. The address aims to help attendees understand the business ecosystem of what goes into decision-making on an enterprise level. Ace Hardware is the largest retailer-owned hardware cooperative in the world with more than 5,200 locally owned and operated hardware stores in approximately 65 countries.

A highlight of the BIG Event every year is hearing directly from the Channel Chiefs about the most cutting-edge technology solutions being offered today and what’s coming down the pipeline. Scheduled to speak during the forum are Zee Hussain, Channel Chief, and Senior Vice President AT&T Partner Solutions, AT&T Business; Craig Schlagbaum, Vice President Indirect Channels at Comcast Business; Cary Tengler, Executive Director, National Partner Program, Comcast Business; John DeLozier, 8x8’s Vice President of Channel Strategy and Execution; Gaurav Chand, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, CenturyLink and Robert Shidla, Senior Manager of Emerging Technology and Market Business Segments, Verizon Wireless.
